I received this from one of our international workers last night, and felt it was something we all need to hear. 

I read something this morning that I found interesting in light of the effect the Corona Virus is having on the Church. In a devotional talking about the busyness of the Church, Tozer wrote: "Sometimes I think the Church would be better off if we would call a moratorium on activity for about six weeks and just wait on God to see what He is waiting to do for us. That's what they did before Pentecost."

May the Church around the world embrace this season of decreased activity and seek God's face!

In this season of forced isolation, don't fill the time with all the stuff you can find on the internet and television - even the good stuff.  Spend time quietly listening for God's voice.  Don't waste this time by becoming more ardent Christian consumers. It is critical that we hear God's voice regarding what He wants to do in us and for us during this time.
